Job Description
Regeneron is seeking a Process Characterization and Technology Scientist to join the Process Sciences Downstream Department. This position will focus on Process Microbiology within the Downstream Investigations Team. The ideal candidate will lead and conduct lab-based studies to improve process knowledge related to manufacturing operations and technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute small-scale experiments to enhance understanding of cell culture, chromatographic, or filtration processes.
- Develop expertise in microbiological effects on manufacturing processes.
- Implement advanced technologies for microbiological detection in manufacturing.
- Conduct microbial testing such as bioburden and endotoxin assays.
- Analyze data to improve process performance and troubleshoot issues.
- Participate in laboratory safety evaluations and compliance audits.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Microbiology, or related field.
- Relevant experience levels determine specific qualifications.
- Proficiency in antibody manufacturing processes.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Skills and Qualifications:
- Prior experience in bioreactor, cell culture, and microbial fermentation.
- Ability to work in a cGxP environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
