Responsibilities
- Develop genetic and genomic analysis workflows.
- Provide bioinformatics analysis for diverse biomedical research projects.
- Consult with investigators or lab personnel on project analysis needs.
- Assist in grant writing endeavors and participate in research group meetings.
- Mentor undergraduate or graduate students on analytic research projects.
Required Qualifications
- PhD degree in biology or physiology, and MS degree in computational biology or bioinformatics.
- Experience with wet lab experiments and computational analysis of genomics data.
- Proficiency in R, Python, and other standard bioinformatics software.
- Ability to collaborate with biomedical researchers and multitask effectively.
