Job Title: Molecular Oncology Technologist Trainee – 1st Shift

Location: RTP, North Carolina, United States of America
Job Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Determine the acceptability of specimens for testing according to established criteria.
- Perform PCR based molecular oncology testing in accordance with standard operating procedures.
- Prepare, test, and evaluate new reagents or controls.
- Utilize a wide array of instrumentation, including Tecan, Quantstudio7, 3730xL, and ABI 7900 instruments.
- Accurately enter results of testing and review reports for accuracy.
- Recognize problems and initiate troubleshooting steps.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, Chemistry, or a related Life Science.
- No previous experience required at the Technologist Trainee level.
- ASCP or AMT certification preferred.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- Proficient with computers with familiarity in laboratory information systems.
Schedule:
1st Shift, Tuesday-Saturday, 7AM-3:30PM
