The Quality Supervisor/Specialist is a key functional and management position in Ferrero Quality Organization in charge of a line of products and reporting directly to the Plant Quality Leader.

Guarantees that the production unit operates in the respect of quality standards determined by Ferrero Quality Department and respecting product features determined by Corporate Quality Specifications. Generate ideas for continuous improvement and implement related actions. Contribute to employees’ training in order to assure the achievement of quality objectives. Verify that the production auto-control works properly and operate promptly to resolve possible issues. Manages finished product release.
Control that outsourced activities are performed in accordance to quality standards required by the production unit.
Main Responsibilities:
Ferrero Quality Supervisor
QUALITY CONTROL AND FOOD SAFETY
- Issues distribute and update anything in relation to the production lines.
- Support the FS pillar in the risk analysis evaluation, HACCP plan implementation, and traceability of the finished product.
- Responsible for Product Release.

- Supervise auto-control activities performed by operators on the production line
- Re-performing all quality controls predicted by auto-control on a weekly basis
- Provide support to the production department, in case of anomalies identified along the processor in case of quality issues (high flaw rate, production stops, etc.)
- Ensure the execution of controls and /or extraordinary sampling on finished goods with reference to specific issues.
- Supports the production department for all quality matters related to the production process Cooperates with Technical Production department to pursue an ongoing quality improvement
- Ferrero Quality Supervisor Vacancy Controls availability and conformity of recorded statements reported in the weekly/monthly quality reports
- Cooperate with the PQM to determine and implement corrective actions
- Periodically verifies the efficiency and effectiveness of the auto-control system and of the HACCP and food Safety Plan of competence (for example through traceability tests).
- Ensure results are recorded in company reports and forms
- Responsible for execution of s Military Standard periodic audits required by FQD.
- Manages the investigation on critical plant-related consumer complaints and reporting Corporate system
Human Resources Management

- Management of Product quality specialists (or Quality Assistants) to ensure all production quality activities are performed
- Oversee the day-to-day activities of the Product Quality Specialists (or Quality Assistants).
- Ensure that all Product Quality Specialists (or Quality Assistants) are trained on related procedures and operate in compliance with the work instructions and operative procedures
- Organize work hours, vacation requests and performance evaluation for Product Quality Specialists (or Quality Assistants)
- Ensure the Product Quality Specialists (or Quality Assistants) are trained for Health and Safety as well as Environmental aspects
Eligibility for Ferrero Quality Supervisor Vacancy:
- Associate’s Degree
- 4-7 years of experience
- Experience in a food manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of Product/Process Quality specifications, oPRP, CCP’s
- Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, manufacturing process and quality control
- Ferrero Quality Supervisor Vacancy Educational background in Food Safety/Microbiology/Food Science or related field is an asset
- Knowledge of Ferrero Quality and Food Safety processes
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 and FSSC 22000
- Internal auditing experience is an asset
- Ferrero Quality Supervisor Ability to conduct presentations and training sessions
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and deadlines
