Summary
The Aiden lab at BCM is seeking a Research Associate specializing in Genomics to conduct experimental protocols, develop novel procedures, and contribute to publications. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in genomic and epigenomic assays and be ready to collaborate within a dynamic team environment.
Job Duties
Experimental Protocols:
- Execute HiC, single cell HiC, and other genomic and epigenomic assays
- Develop novel experimental protocols
Data Collection and Communication:
- Document, compile, and analyze experimental results
- Assist in preparing laboratory reports and publications
Lab Maintenance and Collaboration:
- Manage collaborative protocol repositories
- Participate in lab maintenance activities
- Collaborate effectively with team members
Minimum Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Basic Science or related field
- Three years of relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Biology or related field
- Basic knowledge of molecular biology techniques
- Familiarity with HiC methods
