Your Tasks
In the department “Prototyping Deo,” new technologies and application forms are being developed for the Beiersdorf Deo brands. As an intern, you will work on development projects within a dedicated team based at our headquarters in Hamburg, Germany. Your tasks will include:
- Acquiring deeper knowledge on the mode of action and development of deodorant/antiperspirant formulations.
- Production and optimization of different formulation bases in laboratory scale.
- Learning and practicing methods for evaluating cosmetic products.
- Planning and executing in vivo studies.
Your Profile
- Studying natural sciences at university level (eg. Chemistry, Food Chemistry, Food Technology, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology).
- Full matriculation during the entire internship or within a year after the bachelor’s degree in preparation for a master’s degree.
- Existing practical experience, e.g. in Chemical Analysis.
- Pleasure in teamwork, an open-minded & outgoing character
- Analytical and structured working approach with a solution-oriented way of problem-solving
- Fluent German and/or English (written and spoken)
- Very good MS Office application knowledge
Your Salary
Your work at Beiersdorf will be fairly remunerated. For a voluntary or compulsory internship, you will earn 2.025 € per month. For a working student activity, the salary is 19.39 € per hour.
