Description & Requirements:
The Hung Lab at the Broad Institute of MIT & Harvard is seeking a highly motivated Research Scientist I whose training and expertise span multiple disciplines including immunology, genomics, and metabolomics. The applicant will work closely with the Hung Lab and be expected to demonstrate leadership. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Leading and carrying out research projects
- Participating in writing papers and grant proposals
- Initiating and directing research projects related to microbiology and antibiotic resistance
- Analyzing and interpreting experimental data
- Participating in scientific conferences and technical meetings
Requirements:
- PhD in chemistry, biology, or related field
- 1-2+ years of related experience
Must possess strong critical thinking, research, and analytical skills. Superior research skills, organizational abilities, and excellent communication skills are required.
