Job Description
The scientist will perform a variety of routine to complex sample preparation and analysis procedures to quantitatively measure pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical compounds. This role involves following validated analytical procedures, reviewing and compiling results, and ensuring compliance with protocols and specifications.
Essential Functions
- Perform sample preparation and analysis procedures
- Problem-solve extraction and instrumentation issues
- Train on analytical instrumentation, SOPs, and regulatory procedures
- Manage QC/QA responsibilities
- Communicate project status effectively
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant life sciences field and 2+ years of experience, or MS degree in a scientific field. Equivalency may be considered based on education and experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of regulatory guidelines
- Ability to apply GMPs and GLPs
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Experience in optimizing analytical methods
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
