Job Description:
The Product Development Scientist is an important role within the Europe R&D Innovation organization, responsible for insight development, design, and translation of product innovations, with a primary focus on Chocolate. This role requires technical know-how, project management skills, and an ability to drive innovation through cross-functional collaboration.
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor of Science or degree equivalent in a technical area including engineering, chemistry, food science is required.
- Recent experience in the food industry or chocolate technical area
- Project management skills.
- Experience working in kitchen, laboratory or pilot plant.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, and learning agility.
- An essential understanding of the key scientific principles associated with food systems and ingredient/process interaction is critical
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver product development activities and ensure project execution
- Meet project timelines and product specifications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate projects
- Ensure products can be scaled effectively within existing manufacturing capabilities

Salary Range:
£35,000 – £44,000 per year, plus bonus and benefits
