Bioanalysis Analyst

Job Summary
As an Analyst for our Bioanalysis team located at the Senneville site, you will be involved in the analysis of samples using various techniques to evaluate the safety of a compound.
Responsibilities
- Conduct technical assays using various extraction techniques (protein precipitate extraction, solid phase extraction) and LC-MS/MS to quantify molecules of interest, in compliance with the Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and FDA regulations
- Handle and analyze biological samples
- Validate the analysis of samples in a multidisciplinary laboratory using a variety of extraction techniques, manual assays, automated equipment, and analytical instruments
- Work closely with the Scientific team
Key Elements
- DEC in science or B.Sc. in science (chemistry or biochemistry)
- Experience with LC-MS/MS
- Team player with a collaborative and positive approach
- English reading comprehension is mandatory. Bilingualism in French and English is preferred
Role Specific Information
- Location: Senneville / Free parking / Free shuttle service from Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue train station and John Abbott College to the Senneville site
- Salary: $23/hr
- Schedule: Daytime schedule, Monday to Friday
- Permanent full-time position as of hiring, 37.5 hrs per week
