Position: Bioinformatics Tech Service Scientist
Overview:
Join us at QIAGEN and make a difference every day as a Bioinformatics Tech Service Scientist providing excellent support for QIAGEN Bioinformatics product lines. You will be an integral part of our dynamic and international team, contributing to advancements in science and healthcare.
Position Description:
- Provide excellent support for QIAGEN Bioinformatics product lines to end users
- Become an expert user of our software to effectively communicate key concepts
- Answer support requests and troubleshoot issues
- Contribute to improving customer-facing touchpoints
- Collaborate with global teams to resolve customer issues
Position Requirements:
- MSc or PhD in Bioinformatics or a related field
- Experience with data analysis of human variant data, NGS data, and/or bioinformatics
- Previous work experience in a related field or support team is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills and customer service orientation
- Fluency in English with strong written and oral communication skills
Personal Requirements:
- Onsite for the first 3-6 months, Hybrid work schedule afterward
- Willingness to work on a NIGHT SHIFT schedule
