As the QC Specialist, you will support the testing and documentation needs of the Quality Control Department during the manufacture and release of Bio-Rad control products. In this role, you will work both independently and in a team-oriented environment. This position is on the second shift (3pm to 11:30pm).
How You’ll Make An Impact:
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot QC Laboratory instrumentation.
- Create and release product batch records according to applicable procedures.
- Evaluate assay runs for accuracy and input data into the appropriate database or software.
- Ensure product testing is completed accurately and in a timely manner, following GDP guidelines.
- Work in a team environment and interface with other departments when required.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, in a life science or related field.
- 0-2 years of experience in a clinical laboratory environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficient in the use of clinical laboratory techniques and equipment.
- Expertise in instrument operation, calibration, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with immunoassay and chemistry testing platforms a plus.
