Job Description
Evercrisp Biosciences is seeking a Lab Technician to support Evercrisp’s R&D operations. This role will work as part of the Operations Team to provide comprehensive support services to the research programs in the organization. The core objectives are to streamline laboratory operations and facilitate the administrative aspects of research. The successful candidate will support ongoing research and development efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Wash laboratory glassware and supplies.
- Sterilize laboratory glassware and supplies.
- Prepare and sterilize expression media to support bacterial protein expression.
- Harvest cell pellets from protein expression using a centrifuge.
- Biohazard / chemical waste handling.
- Perform routine freezer scrape downs and defrost.
- Assist in unpacking and organizing incoming supplies and packages.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent with at least two years of experience working in a laboratory or Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Experience cleaning and sterilizing lab equipment.
- Demonstrated ability to follow SOPs.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Highly organized and able to efficiently work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
