Job Description

This position is part of the Gene Reading Solutions Team supporting the Archer NGS Product line located in Boulder, Colorado and offers opportunities for growth and innovation in an inclusive and diverse environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the development, launch, and sustainment of innovative NGS products
• Plan and conduct experiments, perform data analysis, and interpret results
• Become a subject matter expert in Archer NGS chemistries and analysis
• Brainstorm creative solutions to improve technology and drive future growth
• Prepare and deliver presentations to the R&D group

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, or related field
• 3+ years of lab experience in the life science or biotechnology industry
• Proficiency in Molecular Biology techniques such as PCR, qPCR, and NGS library preparation
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in assay optimization and troubleshooting
• Proficiency in Mac OS command line interface or basic bioinformatics tools
• Experience with various next-generation sequencing library preparation methods

Salary Range: $70,000-$80,000

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
