Job Description:
Overview: A vacancy for a Lab Technician within the QC Bioanalytical laboratory has opened up. This is a great opportunity for recent Science graduates and those looking to gain experience within a GMP laboratory setting. The shift pattern is 7am to 7pm, 4 days on, 4 days off.
Role Functions:
- Sample management within the QC Bioanalytical Laboratory
- Aliquotting of in-process, release, and stability samples
- Daily calibration of instruments within the laboratory
- Maintenance and cleandown of equipment
- General lab housekeeping and solution preparation
- Support MPS activities and perform periodic reviews of lab systems
Requirements:
Experience, Knowledge, and Skills:
- Relevant experience in manufacturing, preferably in a GMP setting
- Experience in bioassay and DNA tests is preferred
- Knowledge of regulatory and code requirements
- Knowledge of cGMP & Laboratory Quality Systems
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Education: Degree qualification in Science/Chemical Engineering/Biological Engineering
