About the Job:
As we transition from research and development to commercialization, Algemy is seeking a passionate Bioprocess Scientist to join our team in developing and optimizing green extraction processes for microalgae ingredients.
Your Challenge:
- Develop and implement green downstream processing techniques.
- Model processes using specialized bioprocess software.
- Scale-up processes to commercial scale.
- Analyze and evaluate the composition and bioactivity of extracts.
- Collaborate with ingredient users to test and refine applications.
- Lead cross-functional teams and external collaborations.
- Support the market launch of innovative ingredients and products.
What We’re Looking For:
- A PhD in Bioprocessing, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or related field.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in downstream processing.
- Experience in bioprocess modeling and scaling up processes.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Passion for sustainability and health.
