Job Description
Allergan Aesthetics R&D, Biological Research is seeking a highly motivated and innovative candidate for the role of Sr Scientist I – Cell and Molecular Biology.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and implement molecular and cell biology models to support target validation for medical aesthetics.
- iPSC culture and differentiation strategy for hair follicle biology projects.
- Design and implement experimentation to validate hypotheses on target/disease biology.
- Prepare presentations and represent the group to cross-functional teams.
- Train and mentor research associates when appropriate.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: Ph.D. or Masters in cell and molecular biology, 0+ years of experience with a Ph.D. OR 8+ years with a Masters.
Preferred Skills: Experience with siRNA design/CRISPR assays, experience in a drug development setting.
Other Required Skills:
- Strong scientific skills with the ability to collaborate.
- Must be adaptable and flexible to meet changing priorities.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
