Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist
Location: Houston, TX
About the Role
Reporting to the Manager, Quality Assurance, the Quality Assurance Specialist will play a key role in ensuring GxP compliance and maintaining quality oversight for Neurogene’s manufacturing operations. This position involves collaborating across departments, supporting investigational new drug applications, and contributing to the company’s transition towards accelerated clinical development.
Responsibilities
- Review and approve Quality System documents
- Provide on-floor support during product manufacturing
- Oversee manufacturing and QC related records
- Review and disposition of raw materials and components
- Assist in process improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Other duties as required
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in biotech/pharmaceutical industry
- GMP and/or Quality certifications a plus
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and make quality decisions
