What You Will Do
Addition Therapeutics seeks a highly motivated undergraduate or graduate student with a strong passion for life sciences research to join our dynamic team. This internship offers an exceptional opportunity for hands-on experience in cutting-edge biotechnology research, particularly in the exciting area of gene-editing technologies. The successful candidate will gain practical experience in cell culture, molecular biology techniques, data analysis, and protocol development while contributing to impactful research projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct experiments involving cell culture and molecular biology techniques.
- Assist in data collection, analysis, and interpretation to support ongoing research projects.
- Contribute to project development, experimental design, and troubleshooting processes.
- Collaborate with team members to advance research milestones and meet deadlines.
- Maintain detailed laboratory records and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Biology, Molecular Biology, Genetics, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with basic molecular biology laboratory techniques (e.g., cell culture, PCR, microscopy).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment.
- Strong communication and organizational abilities.
Compensation: The expected rate is $22.00 an hour.
