Position: Microbiologist
Location: New Albany, OH

Position Summary
The Microbiologist I, independently conducts microbiological analyses of bulk products, raw materials, special samples, environmental samples including DI water, potable water, TOC analysis, air, and surface swab samples according to Pharmavite Standard Methods (PSM) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The Microbiologist I report to the Quality Control Microbiology Leader.
Key Responsibilities
- Perfoms microbiological testing using rapid and traditional methodology
- Performs sampling, testing and other activities
- Compliant with cGMP and regulatory guidelines
- Reports any out-of-specification (OOS)

Critical Success Factors
- Keen attention to detail
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Working knowledge of microbiology techniques
- Prior lab, GMP, and LIMS experience is a plus
Capabilities & Skills Required
- Bachelor’s degree in microbiology, biology, or related science.
- 0 – 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Computer skills in MS Word, Excel, and Power Point.

Annual Pay Range: $52,275.00 – $78,310.00
