How You’ll Make a Difference
As a Scientist at Arcellx, you will drive protein and molecular biology engineering strategies within our Discovery group. Your work will directly impact our mission by developing lead therapeutic candidates, advancing drug discovery, and helping deliver life-saving treatments to needy patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, engineer, and express recombinant proteins for cancer therapy development.
- Construct and evaluate expression plasmids, perform transfections and transductions, and conduct binding kinetic assessments.
- Implement phage and yeast display screening for drug discovery.
- Develop new methods and technologies to advance projects.
- Analyze experimental data and communicate findings with the team.
Skills & Qualifications:
- BS/MS in life sciences (biology, biochemistry, chemistry, genetics, bioengineering, etc.) with 4-8 years of lab experience or a PhD with 0-3 years of experience.
- Expertise in molecular biology techniques: PCR, cloning, sequence analysis, gel electrophoresis, and primer design.
- Preferred experience in drug development, immunology, protein display (phage/yeast), and protein characterization.
- Strong ability to prioritize, plan, and collaborate in interdisciplinary teams.

💰 Competitive Salary: $95,000 – $105,000 (based on experience)
