Job Description
Thermo Fisher Scientific’s clinical research business is a leading global organization passionate about enabling customers to make a positive impact on the world. As an Associate Scientist in the Cell Culture team, you will be involved in conducting lab work related to cell line development and process development to support therapeutic antibody expression.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete experiments for generating stable CHO cell lines expressing therapeutic antibodies.
- Prepare media, buffers, and solutions for laboratory work.
- Write routine electronic laboratory notebook (ELN) and present work summary to internal teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for the pipeline development of large molecules.
Qualifications
- BS degree in Chemical Engineering, Biochemical Engineering, Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Cell Biology or relevant fields and 1+ years of experience.
- Basic knowledge in aseptic cell culture; hands-on experience is a plus.
- Good communication skills and attention to detail.
