Description
MacroGenics is seeking an Associate Scientist II to join the Translational Biomarker team to assist in the clinical progression of novel antibody-based therapies for cancer treatment. The successful candidate will be key in analyzing clinical samples from patients enrolled in ongoing trials and engaging in back-translational research activities.
Responsibilities and Job Duties
- Perform flow cytometry analysis and mass cytometry to investigate biological responses in different cell subsets
- Conduct immune cell-based and protein-soluble assays
- Isolate human primary cell populations
- Support the development of new methods for project advancement
- Maintain detailed records of experimental data and protocols
- Operate under minimal supervision
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Biology or related field with a minimum of two years of strongly related experience
Skills & Abilities:
- Proficiency in flow cytometry and basic immunology techniques
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Strong computer skills and communication abilities
Additional Information
The annual pay rate for this position ranges from $67,200 – $102,500. Eligible employees may participate in various benefits programs, including medical coverage, 401(k) plan, paid time off, and more.
