This Biochemist I position plays a vital role in impacting people’s health and well-being globally by working on the innovative Siemens Atellica automation platform. The role involves supporting manufacturing personnel in building and testing diagnostic reagents and materials used by clinical labs on automation platforms such as Atellica, Centaur, and Centaur CP. Reporting to the Senior Supervisor of Technical Operations, this position will focus on an assay portfolio covering various areas including HIV, Oncology, therapeutic monitoring drugs, Congenital, and immunosuppressant drugs. This full-time onsite position is based at our Walpole, MA site.
Responsibilities:
- Handling various materials including hazardous and DEA controlled substances
- Performing troubleshooting for technical issues related to immunoassay reagents and testing components
- Leading projects and coordinating root cause investigations
- Designing experiments and writing compliance documentation
- Working with biological fluids and instrumentation
Requirements:
- BS or MS in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Medical Technology
- Experience in design/process change projects and CAPAs preferred
- Strong work ethic and communication skills
- Proficiency in PC skills and statistical methods (Minitab preferred)
