Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Scientist to join the Infectious Disease Research (IDR) group in Upper Providence, Pennsylvania. As a Scientist in HBV Virology, you will be responsible for designing and executing research studies focused on therapeutic strategies for Chronic Hepatitis B treatment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Laboratory Studies: Design and conduct research studies, analyze data, and communicate results.
  • Multitasking: Ensure timely delivery of study results by managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Collaboration: Build effective collaborations with team members to support project goals.
  • Innovation: Expand skill set, research literature, and maintain awareness of HBV research.
  • Compliance and Data Integrity: Ensure diligent documentation of studies in compliance with GSK standards.

Basic Qualifications:

  • MS in biotechnology, biomedical science, or a related field.
  • Prior experience in laboratory research investigating antiviral activity.
  • Experience with cell imaging, ELISA, and PCR methods.
