Position: Postdoctoral Researcher in Cardiovascular Biology Laboratory
Location: International Centre for Genetic Engineering (ICGEB)
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with clinicians and biomedical companies
- Contribute to the development of a platform for advanced cell therapy for non-healing wounds
- Collaborate with project partners from academia, hospitals, and biomedical industries
- Contribute to the development of cell therapy products for complex wounds
- Ensure compliance with local and international regulations in the field of cell therapy
Requirements:
- Degree in Biology or related scientific fields
- Hands-on experience in cellular and molecular biology techniques
- Fluent in spoken and written English, Italian, and Slovenian, a plus
- Highly motivated, collaborative, and able to interact with clinicians and industry collaborators
- PhD in Molecular Biology or related fields preferred
- Experience with primary cells and biological therapies for cardiovascular diseases is an asset
Position Details:
- Salary: €24,000-€36,000 per annum
- Duration: 12 months, starting May 2025
