Job Title: Clinical Data Associate
Location: Indianapolis, IN
About the Position:
This role is responsible for trial level clinical data strategy including database management, data quality, technology utilization, and compliance with regulatory standards. The Clinical Data Associate will collaborate with key study partners to define, implement, and deliver clinical data management packages for specific trials or programs.
Key Responsibilities:
Portfolio Strategy, Planning and Delivery
- Define business requirements for the study/program.
- Ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of data management activities.
- Monitor and oversee sourcing providers for end-to-end data management activities.
Project Management
- Specify data collection tools and technology platforms.
- Drive standards decisions and compliance for the study/program.
- Facilitate integration of disparate data sources into decision-making datasets.
Communication
- Act as the primary communication point for all data management activities.
- Report on data management milestones and quality.
- Partner with external data vendors to ensure timely data transfers.
Process Improvement
- Implement means of improving processes and reducing cycle time.
- Represent data sciences’ processes in multi-functional initiatives.
- Engage in shared learning across the Data and Analytics organization.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in a scientific field such as Informatics/Analytics, Life Sciences, Statistics, Information Technology, Epidemiology, Computer Sciences (or Bachelor’s degree plus 5 or more years of experience in clinical data management or areas that closely intersect with clinical data management e.g., statistics, data analytics, information technology, health outcomes, etc…)
Additional Preferences:
- Demonstrated ability to set and implement plans for clinical data management improvements.
- Experience with clinical data management skills and technologies.
- Strong teamwork, problem-solving, and detail-oriented skills.
