Job Description

About the Role
We are currently looking for a Scientific Advisor to join our Disease Awareness team at GSK Australia. You’ll provide medical and technical expertise in the development and implementation of disease awareness strategy, advising on various medical projects and activities, and support the development and execution of scientific activities and communication.
Your Role Will Include:
- Representing Medical in the disease awareness team, ensuring active participation and contribution
- Maintaining current knowledge of medical literature
- Providing literature appraisals to the disease awareness team
- Providing guidance on non-promotional materials
- Reviewing and approving non-promotional materials
About You?
To be successful in the role, you’ll have a strong technical understanding of the Medical Affairs space and experience in Disease Awareness preferred along with a degree in pharmacy, biomedical science, medicine, or an area of allied health.
You’ll also have:
- Degree in pharmacy, biomedical science, medicine, or an area of allied health
- Experience in a Scientific Advisor, Medical Science Liaison, or similar role
- Experience in Disease Awareness preferred
- A working knowledge of the Medicines Australia Code
- Demonstrated experience working autonomously to understand new concepts
