Job Summary
In this role, you will be responsible for performing testing of products for internal and external customers using a variety of analytical techniques. Your duties may include assisting in developing procedures, coordinating sample receipt and shipment, and supporting quality systems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform analysis using various techniques, instrumentation, and/or test methods following standard operating procedures.
- Document findings and root cause analysis using software tools like Salesforce and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Assist in completing projects, train new analysts, develop new test methods, and stay updated on analytical techniques.
- Prepare technical reports, work instructions, SOPs, and participate in quality assurance procedures.
- Work in compliance with cGMP and ISO requirements, maintaining data quality and documentation.
- Utilize software tools for scheduling work and handling test requests.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, Chemistry, or a relevant scientific field preferred. High School Diploma required.
Work Experience
No minimum experience required, 0 – 3 years preferred. Experience in a laboratory or cGMP/pharmaceutical environment is a plus.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Support Lean Sigma programs and exhibit knowledge in specific skills such as container closure integrity, physical testing, particle testing, dimensional analysis, method development, and validation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools and willingness to learn new software programs.
- Ability to review regulatory codes, safety standards, and comply with company policies.
- Organizational skills, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work in a team effectively.
Additional Requirements
Must be able to stand for long periods, communicate effectively, follow safety protocols, and work well in a cleanroom environment.
Physical Requirements
Light-exerting up to 20lbs/9kg frequently, standing for long periods, handling objects, and effective oral and written communication skills are essential.
