Responsibilities
As a CCP6 Trainee Biotechnologist at Lonza, you will be responsible for:
- Performing well-defined procedures within a GMP manufacturing setting.
- Performing equipment monitoring and basic 6S housekeeping.
- Conducting basic laboratory tasks such as sampling and measurements.
- Performing routine sanitization tasks to maintain facility standards.
- Displaying aseptic technique in handling products/materials.
- Multi-tasking on equipment preparations and operations.
- Attaining competency in all operations relevant to assigned manufacturing areas.
- Using SOPs, logbooks, & Batch Records effectively.
- Submitting samples via the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
Materials & Equipment Preparations
- Being able to identify the correct materials and lots.
- Selecting appropriate Dispensing Booths/Hoods and Weight Balance.
- Identifying sampling requirements based on material RMS.
- Assembling the Autoclave assembly per SOP.
- Performing equipment wash without stains and residues.
Solutions Preparations
- Developing enhanced knowledge of setup and equipment use among customers.
- Understanding the criticality of setting up the right path and equipment for customers.
- Gaining knowledge of the setup and equipment use between single-use and conventional equipment.
- Formulating plans for executing CIPs to meet customer requirements.
