In this Role:
- Perform molecular laboratory testing to aid in diagnosing animal illnesses
- Contribute to a team-oriented work environment
- Execute laboratory molecular tests and interpret results following SOPs
- Specialize in PCR testing by examining samples for specific substances using molecular diagnostic methods
What do you need to succeed?
- The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year+ experience performing PCR testing in a high-volume, high-throughput testing laboratory. Experience setting up, running, reading lab tests, and operating laboratory equipment required.
- You possess a 4-year degree in a Science-related field; ideally, the degree will be in Molecular Biology (BA or MA)
- You have the ability to set up molecular reactions, specifically PCR (Polymerase Chain reaction).
- You have a general science background and micro-pipetting skills.
- You have an ability to set up high-throughput molecular reactions, specifically PCR (Polymerase Chain reaction) reactions.
- Analytical thinking while operating lab instruments and when reading the test’s results.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to follow SOPs and work well in a team
- Physical ability to meet lab requirements

Schedule:
This is a full-time 2nd shift position (Monday-Friday 12:00 pm – 8:00 pm) with an additional shift differential.
