Responsibilities:
- Establishing a strong knowledge of seed physiology and seed business
- Leading projects independently with varieties of stakeholders
- Designing and executing experiments
- Making data-based decisions timely and according to project timelines
- Actively taking part in the technology transfer and implementation process in the processing plants
Qualifications:
- PhD degree preferably in plant science, or equivalent qualification/relevant experience
- Passion for working on the boundaries of plant biology/seed technology and operations
- Strong drive to deliver results and implement innovative technologies in an operational environment
- Demonstrated interest in finding technical solutions for biological problems
- Good English language skills
- Willingness to continuously learn
- Strong team working and communication skills
Desired Skills:
- Basic command of the Dutch language or the drive to learn it in the short term
- Relevant work experience in a commercial environment
- Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams in an international environment
