Job Title: Scientist, Molecular Assay Development
Location: Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain
Position Description:
QIAGEN Barcelona is looking for a Scientist to join its Product Development team. The role involves supporting the development of new and existing molecular diagnostic applications using advanced RNA and DNA technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan studies and protocols
- Execute laboratory studies
- Troubleshoot and interpret data
- Coordinate projects with team members
- Coach and mentor junior staff
Position Requirements:
The ideal candidate should have a university degree in biological sciences, preferably a PhD, and experience in molecular microbiology or infectious disease laboratory settings. Strong troubleshooting and team leadership skills are essential.
