Novozymes R&D Summer Internship Program Overview
Internships last for 12 weeks and require a 40 hour per week commitment. This is a non-exempt/hourly position based on the rate of $15/hour. 2021 summer internships will start in June when the Spring academic term has been completed. To be considered for a summer internship in 2021, you must have Junior/Senior university class standing by Fall 2021, and you must apply for the internship by March 15th. Recent graduates may also apply.
Research and Development Internships
We will hire 3-4 interns in 2021. Interns will be assigned to work directly with a researcher in one of the following areas:
- Molecular Biology
- Molecular Genomics
- Protein Chemistry
- Microbiology and Microbial Physiology (areas of specialization include Robotics Screening and Fermentation).
In these positions you need to have:
- Enrollment in a BS degree program for Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry or related concentration
- Hands-on laboratory experience, including use of analytical equipment
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
