Job Title: mRNA, Senior Research Associate/Research Associate, midscale mRNA production – Vaccine
Location: Waltham, MA
Eligibility Criteria:
- M.S. (0-3 years of post-graduate experience) in a related field (e.g., Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology)
- Desire to work in a team-first, fast-paced environment, learn new skills, and to efficiently solve problems
- Attention to detail & meticulous record-keeping
- Demonstrated success in nucleic acid synthesis/handling (RNase-Free)/application with hands-on experience in messenger RNA production/characterization preferred
- Experience in analytical and molecular biology methods relevant to mRNA preferred
In this role you will….
- Support mRNA production efforts for mRNA drug targets entailing high throughput batch production, characterization, optimization of mRNA processes
- Focus on synthesis and purification of a wide range of mRNA constructs in parallel for fast progression of programs
- Contribute to improvements in stability and potency of mRNA through novel construct designs
- Provide accurate and reproducible execution of analytical characterization for full release panel for mRNA drug substance
- Prepare technical reports, presentations, and recommendations to management and other stakeholders
- This will be primarily a lab-based position
