Educational Qualification Required for this Sanofi Microbiology Job :
- Bachelor’s Degree plus minimum 1 year of relevant research experience in an academic or biopharmaceutical setting OR Master’s Degree with relevant research experience in an academic or biopharmaceutical setting in the field of Virology, Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Cell Biology, or related field.
Experience:
- Proficiency in modern molecular biology techniques.
- Experience in mammalian cell culture and virology is preferred.
- Working experience with adherent and suspension cell cultures at large scale is plus.
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
- Meticulous in cell culture, laboratory techniques, and record keeping.
- Ability to learn quickly and work independently
Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute various molecular biology techniques – ELISA, plate-based assays,
- DNA extraction from cells and tissues, gel electrophoresis, flow cytometry.
- Cell culture techniques using adherent and suspension mammalian cell lines.
- Development and optimization of conditions for large-scale research-grade production of viral vectors (transfection/transduction).
- In-vivo techniques: mouse husbandry, dosing, and sample collection.
- Data analysis, record keeping and troubleshooting experimental problems.
- Presentation of scientific results to group members, multi-disciplinary research teams, and at external meetings or conferences.

The successful candidate will contribute to the development of novel gene therapy treatments for Hemophilia and other rare blood diseases. Experience in basic molecular biology techniques required. Experience with mammalian cell culture and mouse in-vivo techniques preferred. We are willing to train the right candidate.
