Job Title: Scientist
Position Description
- Responsible for Design Transfer from R&D to Operations team
- Development of the reasonable manufacturing process through Validation, Scale up, Optimization, and Automation
- Improvement of the manufacturing process for cost efficiency and better quality
- Scientific analysis and research on manufacturing data
- Design experimental work independently or with minimal supervision
- Product implementation to manufacturing system
- Documentation of the research plan and the result
- Presentation of research outcome at meetings
- Publication of Standard Operating Procedure
- Cross-functional communications and collaboration with R&D, Engineer, QC, QA, GPM, and manufacturing team
- Training Operators on any new process or on the changes
Position Requirements
- MS/PhD degree in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Bioengineering, or related Life Sciences field
- Minimum 5-years hands-on experience in a molecular biology laboratory or in the relevant industry environment
- Hands-on experience in RT-PCR, miRNA, gene expression, molecular cloning, Next-Gen-Sequencing, bioinformatics, bioengineering, protein purification
- Excellence in designing of scientific experiments, documentation, data analysis, and the presentation
- Excellence in time management skills
- Excellent skills in MS-office software especially in MS-Excel
- Ability to read and follow technical procedures. Ability to write SOP and reports
- Experience in a large scale production system is a plus
Personal Requirements
- Must be fluent in English and possess exceptional verbal and writing skills
- Ability to effectively present information and promptly respond to questions from managers and colleagues
- Must be a team player, able to understand the requirements of and work with colleagues from many cross-functional groups
- Must be highly organized and self-motivated
