Lonza Cell and Gene Therapy facility, located in Houston, Texas, is the largest in the world and our facility is growing. We are looking for a Technical and GMP Trainer to oversee training programs and schedules for new hires and current employees. The Technical Trainer will provide Classroom, hands-on Aseptic and Technical training and coaching.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Life Science
- GMP compliance knowledge
- Cell culture, molecular biology or biotech/biopharma laboratory and/or manufacturing experience, preferably in a cGMP manufacturing environment
- Planning/Organizing/Controlling training schedules
Key responsibilities:
- Provide classroom and hands-on aseptic technical training
- Assess trainee competency, provide feedback, and coach trainees’ success
- Works closely with department SMEs to effectively design and align training programs that build core aseptic and general process expertise
- Liaison with department manager(s) to identify technical training needs and expectations. Monitor and share progress and outcomes
- Coordinate and oversee training programs
- Assess training programs for continuous improvement, error reduction, and increased operator aseptic and process knowledge and skill
- This position requires excellent oral and written communication skills, across all levels of the organization and the ability to authoritatively discuss technical issues with internal and customer experts
