Job Title: Sr. /Research Associate, Molecular Biology
Location: MTC South – Norwood – USA – MA
Eligibility Criteria for Moderna Biotech Job :
- BS or MS in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering, or related field
- 1-3 years of relevant industry or academic research experience
- Laboratory experience working with RNA and/or DNA
- Knowledge of RNA and DNA chemistry and biology and standard analysis methods relevant to these molecules (ex. PCR, qPCR, gel electrophoresis, CE, etc.)
- Working familiarity with common analytical/purification methods (ex. HPLC, UPLC, LC-MS) is preferred
- Candidates should have Experience with HPLC and mass spectrometry is preferred for Moderna Biotech Job
- Experience with biochemical assay testing, development, and troubleshooting is preferred
- Candidates willing to apply for Moderna Biotech Job should have Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and collaborative skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and effectively in a highly dynamic environment

Moderna is seeking a curious, detail-oriented research associate for a position based at their Norwood, MA site. The individual will participate in the synthesis and analysis of research scale material using novel processes in support of Moderna’s mRNA platform.
Here’s What You’ll Do:
- Synthesize mRNA at different scales to support research activities throughout Moderna
- Develop and apply novel processes for mRNA synthesis
- Perform analyses using various types of instrumentation (HPLC, mass spectrometry, etc.)
- Perform research to support new assays and process improvements
- Maintain scientific records of experiments and clearly communicate results
- Maintain a clean and organized lab bench
- Maintain equipment and instruments
