Job Description:
At GSK Vaccines, we are seeking a motivated Associate Scientist with expertise in Cell Biology and In Vitro Models to contribute to our innovative projects aimed at developing transformative vaccines. This role will involve working in a collaborative environment to advance various vaccine candidates through preclinical development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform in vitro assays to measure cellular responses
- Optimize cell culture conditions for primary cells and complex models
- Analyze and interpret experimental results
- Contribute data for scientific publications and patent filings
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences with 2+ years of laboratory experience OR master’s degree with 0+ years’ experience
- Experience with primary cells, tissue culture, and biological samples
- Familiarity with ligand-binding assays, flow cytometry, and molecular biology techniques
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with mRNA transfection, RT-PCR, and viruses
- Knowledge of assay qualification
- Fluency in English
