As a Scientist, you will independently design, implement, analyze, and document process development studies for early and late-stage development. You will collaborate with the team to interpret study results, contribute to technical discussions, and support tech transfer activities, including batch record and SOP development, troubleshooting, process monitoring, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience with human primary cell culture, including CAR-T cell expansion.
- Process development expertise in cell therapies, scale-up, and cell characterization (flow cytometry, PCR).
- Hands-on experience with CAR-T cell engineering, genome editing tools, and DNA/RNA transfection approaches.
- Familiarity with DOE fundamentals.
- Strong experimental design and data analysis skills.
- Excellent teamwork and technical writing skills.
- Availability to work on weekends if needed.
- Knowledge of immunology and GMP manufacturing.
- Experience with CRISPR/Cas9 gene editing and viral transduction techniques.
- Strong scientific rigor and decision-making skills.
- BS degree in Biochemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology, or a related field with 2-5 years of relevant experience.
- MS degree with 2 years of relevant experience.
The annual base salary for this position ranges from $78,388 to $117,582, with variations based on market location, experience, and skills. Additional benefits include:
