About the Role:
The Senior Scientist, Process Development will lead process development activities for cell therapy products at our Santa Monica, CA location. Reporting to the Senior Director, Process Development, you will collaborate with various departments to drive innovation and contribute to the development of life-changing medicines.
Responsibilities:
- Guide platform and process development efforts for T-cell-derived cell therapies.
- Support the technology transfer of processes into clinical manufacturing.
- Implement automated manufacturing processes and ensure successful outcomes.
- Collaborate on activities to enable clinical trials.
- Design scalable manufacturing processes for engineered T cells.
- Prepare technical reports, SOPs, and manufacturing batch records.
- Communicate program progress and issues to management.
Minimum Qualifications:
- PhD in Immunology, Biological Sciences, or related field with at least 3 years of industry experience.
- Knowledge of cell and gene therapy processes.
- Experience in autologous T-cell therapy manufacturing.
- Expertise in automation equipment and cGMP operations.
Salary and Benefits:
The annual base salary for this position ranges from $105,875 to $158,813. Additional benefits include short-term incentive bonuses, retirement contributions, paid time off, and health benefits.
