Bioinformatics Post Doc The University of Florida College of Nursing PAILTO (Personalized Approach to Improve Liver Transplant Outcomes) study seeks a full-time (1.0 FTE) Post-Doctoral Research Associate. The candidate will be working with an interdisciplinary (and inter-institutionally) team led by Dr. Pruinelli (https://nursing.ufl.edu/profile/pruinelli-lisiane/). The position will require collaboration with other faculty, scientists, and health professionals across the UF campus and other institutions in US on the design, coordination, and implementation of informatics and data science projects with the incorporation of causal inference.
The postdoctoral research associate is expected to utilize real-word healthcare data, from single and multi-centric sources, develop and apply data science methods including machine-/deep-learning methods, and implement causal inference for AI applications.
The position will be funded for 1 year, with an opportunity to renew for an additional year based on performance.

Eligbility Criteria
- PhD in Bioinformatics or related technical discipline
- Experience with programming languages
- Experience writing code for complex computer programs independently
- Experience with linear algebra, machine learning, and statistical methods
