Job Purpose:
This is an exciting opportunity for an individual to join our Process Development team as a Laboratory Technician. The role involves conducting routine and ad hoc analysis to support process development projects within a dynamic environment.
Core Accountabilities:
- Safe collection of manufacturing samples
- Routine and ad hoc analysis on sugar beet and process samples
- Assist in method development and work optimization
- Accurate recording of results
- Lab management and organization
- Engage and cooperate with team members
- Training of temporary analysts
- Occasional travel to other sites
Skills, Knowledge and Competencies:
- Science qualifications at degree level or equivalent
- Chemistry at A-Level or equivalent
- Prior laboratory experience
- Lab management skills
- Good timekeeping and communication skills
- Full driving license
- Basic IT skills
- Ability to carry out basic calculations accurately
- Organized, responsible, and reliable
- Strong safety awareness
- Positive and flexible attitude
- Solutions-based mindset and creative thinking
