Position Summary
The Laboratory Intern at Catalent provides introductory exposure to the overall function of a commercial laboratory. This position involves partnering with laboratory chemists in executing daily testing and tasks. The internship is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a state-of-the-art facility focused on oral solid dosage forms.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain data integrity and follow good documentation practices.
- Compare laboratory data against specifications to ensure results meet requirements.
- Ensure proper care and return of calibration standards.
- Enter data into reports/templates or software systems.
- Adhere to assignments and guidance from senior chemists.
Candidate Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Enrolled in a Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or related program.
- Located within 50 miles of Greenville, North Carolina.
- Ability to handle tools of the trade and lift objects over 50 lbs.
- Experience with hazardous chemicals and machinery.
Shifts: 20-28 hours/week
