Summary

The Early Development Clinical Scientist function at Bristol Myers Squibb provides scientific expertise necessary to design and deliver clinical studies and programs, supporting the Immunology, Cardiovascular, Fibrosis, and Neuroscience team.

Position Summary / Objective

  • Responsible for implementation, planning, and execution of assigned clinical trial activities.
  • Leads trial level activities for multiple trials with minimal to moderate supervision.
  • Provides scientific and clinical leadership to clinical scientists on study teams.
  • Supports clinical development planning in collaboration with Early Clinical Development physicians.

Position Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Maintaining a thorough understanding of assigned protocols and educating team members.
  • Planning and leading the implementation of clinical study activities.
  • Managing protocol and ICF development process.
  • Serving as the primary contact for site-facing activities.
  • Authoring and reviewing clinical study reports and regulatory documents.

Degree Requirements

Degree in Life Sciences (MD, PhD, Pharm D, MS, RN, or similar scientific field preferred).

Experience Requirements

1+ years experience in clinical science and clinical research
