Job Title: Analyst – Biomarker
About the job
We are looking for an Analyst – Biomarker to join our dynamic team. As an essential part of our operations, you will have the opportunity to work independently and contribute to various projects in a fast-paced laboratory environment.
Essential Responsibilities
- Run assays independently
- Prepare buffers and plate maps
- Troubleshoot assays and compile/process data
- Use the LIMS system and participate in sample analysis
- Adhere to safety requirements and maintain an accurate inventory of supplies
Additional Responsibilities
- Perform other duties as needed
Minimum Preferred Qualifications
Education/Experience
- Associate degree in a related field with over two (2) years of experience, or
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field with at least one (1) year of experience
Skills
- Familiarity with immunoassay platforms such as ELISA, MSD-ECL, and RIA
- Ability to carry out tasks accurately and work effectively within a team
- Detail-oriented, organized, and experienced in a GxP environment
Working Environment
Work primarily involves laboratory settings with exposure to biological fluids and standard office equipment. Personal protective equipment is required.
Physical Demands
This role requires the ability to work efficiently in a laboratory environment, perform varied tasks, and communicate effectively with diverse groups.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position with occasional weekend, holiday, and evening work. Some flexibility in hours is allowed.
