Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop cell-based functional assays using cell lines and mammalian tissue primary cells
  • Conduct functional assays, including immune cell activation, differentiation, and immune profiling, that further project goals
  • Perform advanced molecular biology and cellular biology techniques (FACS, ELISA, MSD, HTRF)
  • Isolate immune cells from relevant human and mouse tissues
  • Implement and innovate new experimental protocols/techniques as needed
  • Work independently on the design, execution, and interpretation of experimental results
  • Analyze, interpret, document, and report data concisely and rigorously
  • Demonstrate scientific excellence through dedication to multiple projects in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environment

Qualifications:

Scientist I Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education with typically 5 years of experience, or Master’s Degree or equivalent education with typically two years of experience
  • Experience in in vitro cell culture and development of cell-based assays is required
  • Experience in immunoassays using techniques like flow cytometry, ELISA, MSD, HTRF, and microscopy is required
  • The ability to learn new skills and apply them in a fast-paced research environment is a must

Scientist II Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education with typically 7 years of experience, or Master’s Degree or equivalent education with typically 5 years of experience
  • Experience in in vitro cell culture and development of cell-based assays is required
  • Experience in immunoassays using techniques like flow cytometry, ELISA, MSD, HTRF, and microscopy is required
  • The ability to learn new skills and apply them in a fast-paced research environment is a must

Additional Information:

  • Travel: Yes, 5% of the Time
  • Salary: $71,000 – $134,500
