Job Scope:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Scientist with a background in molecular biology to join our team. This role will involve supporting the development of molecular biology products and services through research and collaboration with experienced scientists and engineers.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design and development of molecular biology products using GenScript’s high-throughput DNA synthesis platform.
- Support research and innovation in gene synthesis technologies, helping to streamline processes while maintaining quality and safety standards.
- Contribute to the development of new product offerings, such as gene assembly technologies and cell-free DNA amplification and synthesis methods.
- Assist in the translation of research into scalable manufacturing processes, collaborating with the manufacturing and quality teams to ensure smooth product launches.
- Participate in cross-functional team efforts to address production challenges and improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with bioinformatics specialists, chemists, and other team members to apply research findings to biosynthesis technology services.
- Analyze experimental data, contribute to reports, and present findings to senior team members.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Synthetic Biology, Microbiology, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
- Familiarity with molecular biology techniques such as PCR, qPCR, cloning, gene assembly, DNA/RNA purification, and sequencing.
- Strong problem-solving skills and an eagerness to learn in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
- Previous laboratory experience or internships in molecular biology or a related field is a plus.
