Position Summary:
The Research Scientist will be responsible for designing experimental approaches, conducting research projects, and presenting findings to contribute to the development of our product line. This role involves a balance of independent and team-oriented work, emphasizing scientific proficiency, teamwork, and strong communication skills.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Documenting research activities and utilizing project management software.
- Development and screening of fungi through traditional and modern methods.
- Troubleshooting and refining techniques using critical thinking and problem-solving.
- Supervision of laboratory activities and personnel.
- Preparation of scientific publications and technical reports.
Required Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in biology, mycology, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in mycology or biotechnology.
- Strong knowledge in Fungal Biology and experimental design.
- Experience with nucleic acid extraction and genomic data interpretation.
